Champions League Review/Preview with Eoin O'Callahan - February 19, 2014
Our guest for the day is a dear friend of ours who used to work here in North America for Fox Soccer, but has taken his talents back overseas to the UK where Eoin O'Callahan has been covering football still, but expanded his horizons to various other sports. We get to talk about the Champions League with Eoin today, reflecting back at the Manchester City loss to Barcelona and trying to sort out what the Citizens could have done better to combat the perennial powerhouse that is FCB. We also get the shortest response ever from Eoin when we discuss PSG's domination of Bayer Leverkuensen last night in Germany. Then, it's on to tonight's matches where Arsenal host the German giants Bayern Munich and AC Milan host Atletico Madrid in the first ever meeting between the two. And since it's going on and we're fans of sport in general, Eoin and Ollie squeeze in a little Olympic discussion.

With tonight's fixtures featuring the gigantic clash of Manchester City and FC Barcelona, we try to see what separates these two highly talented squads. But we try to take a realistic point of view as we touch on tonight's matches with Paul. It's been a while since we had Paul on last so we jump at the opportunity to look ahead to Atletico's clash with AC Milan and Real Madrid's clash with Schalke.

Tangled Webb of Calls, Chatter and More FA Cup Review with Jonathan Liew - February 17, 2014
Our guest for the day is the Telegraph's very own Jonathan Liew to help us review the massive news coming out of the FA Cup weekend. Hard to tell where to start, but rest assure, we get Jonathan's opinion on the call that never came from England's best referee and World Cup representative in Howard Webb. There was a sure fire penalty on Liverpool star Luis Suarez, and the no call begs the question, why? Why didn't Webb make the call that everyone else, including Arsenal supporters seem to recognize. Surely Howard Webb is above being a subjective official who takes out his personal bias on players he dislikes. Manchester City dispatched of Chelsea, claiming back their home ground after being beaten by the Londoners at the Etihad in the league recently. We get Liew's opinion on whether Jose and his men were OK with dropping out of the FA Cup. What does the other side of the Merseyside Derby have in store for the rest of the tournament. The Toffees struggled a bit in the first half, but managed to step up to the task at hand in the second. Plus, we look at how the fixture build up might affect those teams still competing in Europe.

Massive FA Cup Preview and Premier League Clubs Out for Revenge - February 14, 2014
Our guest for the day is the English football writer Chris Winterburn who helps us look back at some of the Premier League fixtures during the week before we look ahead to the massive football to be played in the FA Cup. We have some massive match ups this weekend with the main one being Chelsea traveling back to Manchester City to give us a rematch of a Monday Night meeting two weeks ago. Jose Mourinho's little horses take on the thoroughbreds that are Manchester City and more than likely, there are plenty of reasons why Manuel Peligrini's men will want to exact revenge. We also lucky enough to get another rematch when Liverpool hosts Arsenal this Sunday. Will Arsene Wenger's men be able to make up for the embarrassment they faced last weekend? Winterburn gives us his thoughts on the chances of Arsenal facing complete collapse in the face of a clearly tough schedule ahead of them. We are really lucky to have such interesting football to watch this season in England and Chris helps us preview this.

The State of Scottish Football, Fond Memories of Rangers Return to the Top Flight, and the EPL Title Race Anomaly - February 13, 2014
Rafa brings on a special guest, close to his heart... pun completely intended. In a bid to top Ollie's guest, Rafa's flexes his European football knowledge by bringing on a guest to talk about Scottish football, particularly Rangers FC. Yes, it is his club, but knowing that he rarely gets the opportunity to talk about RFC and Scottish football, Rafa jumped at the opportunity. David Edgar, host of Heart and Hand, The Rangers Podcast, joins Rafa to talk about the state of Scottish football and whether or not there is any hope for the future of it. The boys reflect on life in the lower leagues of Scotland, which includes peeing in hedges, learning names of clubs that are impossible to pronounce, and gaining new friends on the way back to the top flight of Scotland. David explains the main issues plaguing Rangers today, both on and off the pitch, as well as potential League Cup success. And just so you don't think it's all Rangers, David breaks down the title chase in England and why we are witnessing a football anomaly.

Liga MX, the US Connection with Tijuana Xolos, and the Saviour of Mexican football. - February 13, 2014
Ollie decided to take it straight to Rafa and the North American listeners of the show when he brings on the lovely Kim Tate to talk Liga MX and the Xolos from Tijuana. Americans seem to be influencing Liga MX beyond the boarder town of TJ, but we start there as the Xolos travel to Santos Laguna where both teams look desperate to get a win. Santos found a way to get through their Argentinian opponent in Copa Libertadores, but their striking duo up top have been running a little dry when it comes to bagging goals. There is a special connection most American soccer supporters have with Xolos and that's where we focus this discussion though, especially since Kim has had some incredible access to the club. Her passport must be getting filled pretty quickly as she talks about the connections that Xolos have with San Diego, as well as the way they scrapped by at home to Monterrey.

Our guest for the day is the legendary European football writer and dear friend for the show, Andy Brassell. Andy joins us from Germany where he is covering the German Cup, attending the Eintracht Frankfurt v Borussia Dortmund yesterday and making an appearance at Hamburg v Bayern Munich tonight. Atletico Check Out of Real's Copa del Rey, January Transfer Moves in Spain and Karim Benzema's Interesting Story - February 11, 2014
Let's start things off with our guest who is the first Spanish football correspondent we've had in a while. Joseph Sexton joins the program to talk about the King's Cup and Atletico Madrid's chances in the return leg against Real Madrid tonight. The Madrid derby seems a little out of reach for Atletico, but the last time they beat Real by four goals was when Luis Aragones was in charge. So maybe, just maybe, the heavens may be looking down on Atletico to help them out a little. Joseph also looks at the shock losses that Atletico have managed to rack up in recent play, but they still manage to be atop la Liga. We look at the transfer window moves made by Atletico and the rest of la Liga, before looking at the other side of the Copa del Rey tomorrow. Sexton also looks at the strange story of Karim Benzema who recently reached the same scoring tally as the Original Ronaldo.

The Arsenal Collapse, United's Downward Spiral, and More Premier League Headlines with Sami Mokbel - February 10, 2014
Our guest for the day is a football writer for the Daily Mail and a good friend of the show. Sami Mokbel joins the program today to review all the majors stories coming out of England this past weekend. Without question, one of the biggest stories coming out of the Premier League this weekend is the absolute demolition of Arsenal at the hands of Liverpool. It was this fixture that starts off a hellish run of matches for the Arsenal this month and next. It was this fixture that Arsene Wenger needed to get right to make sure that his team could stay top of table. But unfortunately, it looks like it's this fixture which might start a long and demoralizing slide from the pole position in the Premier League. The other main topic of discussion coming out of the Premier League this past weekend is the sad result that United got hosting Fulham. Fulham picked up a late goal to tie Manchester United 2-2 at Old Trafford and it looks like the whole of Manchester are turning their backs on David Moyes now. Lots of other results and stories to kick about with Sami and we're happy to have him on to discuss them.

Both will have massive implications on the league table and we talk to Nick about what we should expect to see from the league leaders and those fighting for a place in Europe, if not the title.

So we look ahead to what we can expect when these two teams clash in the final in a few week's time. We also discuss the transfer window and the move that never came to be with Clement and his agent deciding against the move to Newcastle. Graham answers these all, plus we go in to an uncharacteristic buy from the Arsenal when they picked up Kalstrom in the waning moments of the January transfer window. Lastly, we breakdown who we think will finish top four in the table come the end of the season.

Will they have enough to get over Norwich City, probably, but that's not saying much. There are two matches that really stand out on Wednesday and that is the London derby between Chelsea and West Ham, and of course the big clash between Spurs and Manchester City.

We are talking primarily about the A-League down under today with John Duerden. We hardly ever bring up Australian soccer, primarily because it's difficult to organize a time that is reasonable for both sides of the interview, but we manage it this time. It's been nearly four years since John's been on last, but we hit the ground running, comparing the new A-League to something a little more familiar in Major League Soccer. We also talk a little bit about how Australia will be hosting the Asian Cup next year, going in to detail just how important the connection to the Asian Confederation has been for Australian football in general. But really, what should we expect when it comes to football from South America. There is also the power and momentum that Real Madrid are seemingly starting to gel both in the league and in Europe, which prompts the discussion of the European draws for Spanish clubs still competing in Champions League and Europa League.

We also look at who will have the toughest potential draws come Monday when the knock out rounds are selected.

The last few times we've had Eric on the program, it's been just after the sacking of one of the national team managers and not necessarily in the happiest of times. This appearance though, we find Eric and Mexico in much happier times having finally booked their ticket to Brazil 2014. A hat trick in New Zealand helped to lift the Mexicans well over their competition, but does this mean the national squad has made the turn around and will prove to be the Mexico of old that we all want to see inspire their country? We also try to and get Eric's thoughts on the drab affair in Austria.

Understandably, the Norwich position is a tough one to hold down, but completely disgraceful to hear LFC supporters calling for Brendan Rogers to be fired when you look at their current form and place in the league table. Sure, losing to the Arsenal is ridiculous, but Rogers deserves more than that. Being based in London, we also touch on the Spurs' decision to let Lloris stay in the game after being knocked out by the knee of Lukaku. So much to cover from in England, so our guest from the day is Dean Jones from the Trinty Mirror. We look back at the weekend in the Premiership with Dean, particularly the latest Manchester United savior and golden boy for David Moyes, Adnan Januzaj. We also touch on table toppers Arsenal as well. Plus, England calls up their squad for their upcoming World Cup Qualifiers which calls for big wins. That is unlike that of the American's World Cup Qualifying Campaign... sorry Ollie.

Two guest today, starting things off with Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, looking forward to the weekend in the Premier League, focusing in on the response we may see from Manchester City after being completely undone by Bayern Munich. Champions League Match Day Review with David Garrido - October 03, 2013
Our guest for the day is Sky Sports News Presenter David Garrido. Some how, we find out that he too is a Sheffield Wednesday fan, which is steadily becoming a trend with our guest on the show. Of course, we are jumping into football talk with the English clubs who competition in Europe this week, particularly the Manchester clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal. City were completely dismantled by Bayern Munich who looked in top form last night. Manchester United escape with a draw but is that enough to calm some of the critics for Moyes?

Champions League Review with Kris Voakes - October 02, 2013
Our guest for the day is Goal.com Italian football writer and softy for the Wednesday (that's Sheffield Wednesday), Kris Voakes. It's been a while since we had on Voakes last and the headlines coming out of Italy have never stopped and this week in particular is no different. Milan draw late against Ajax in a match that Ollie surely cringed at watching Juventus look to bounce back after a stumble in their opening group stage match. And there is so much to talk about from Serie A, and so little space to write about what we may or may not get to in the show, it is literally unbelievable.

Madrid Derby Day Stalemate - September 30, 2013
Our guest of the day is Spanish football writer, Graham Hunter. Real Madrid stumble some as they cannot seem to get past Atletico Madrid. Ancelotti says they were bad at the weekend, but does Atletico Madrid deserve more credit than that? Barcelona breeze past Almeria, and where are the stories out side the big two in la liga? Graham helps us to sort that out.

Real Madrid, Turkish Football Flame-ups, and Sounders are NOT Soft - September 26, 2013
Our first guest of the day is the legendary European football writer, Andy Brassell. Andy joins the program to talk with Ollie about Real Madrid and the chemistry we see building in the Galacticos' Camp. Will la decima be won this season under Ancelotti? Will the giant science experiment of throwing super star egos together on the same pitch reflect massive results? We also talk about the storm brewing in Turkish football with troubles from outside the lines of the pitch, spilling over to field in more than one way. Brian Dunseth joins the show next after a long while off our airwaves... for no particular reason really. Brian comes on to look at some Concacaf Champions League play, as well as some MLS talking points. Are Seattle Sounders as soft as Rafa claims them to be??

More Paolo di Canio Talk and Mid Week Serie A Fixtures - September 25, 2013
Our first guest of the day is Kristan Heneage to continue our discussion on the sacking of our dearly beloved Paolo di Canio. it's one of the more polarizing topics of discussion today in the Premier League as all are split down the middle. Was di Canio never the right fit andhad he over stayed his welcome, or has Sunderland lost their mind in this instance. Our second guest of the day is contributor for The Bleacher Report, Jerrad Peters who helps us cover some Italian football. There is a full slate of Serie A fixture this week, but the big game we want to focus on comes tomorrow when Inter take on Fiorentina.

We start things off with the last topic of conversation we had with Paul and that's Real Madrid. We jump off with the discussion of whether or not Karim Benzema is letting his club and fans down. Plus, we talked about Bale pushing Ronaldo, but what about di Maria? And Barcelona being beaten in ball retention for the first time in years!! Prepare for hell to freeze over.

A Manchester Thrashing, Firepower Back at the Arsenal, and Bye-Bye Di Canio - September 23, 2013
Our guest for the day is a football writer from the Daily Mail and was actually in attendance at the Arsenal match, Jonathan Liew. With all the news coming out of the Premier League this weekend, we had to bring on Jonathan to cover it all. Moyes and his boys get their butts handed to them by their noisy neighbors. Chelsea scrape by Fulham with an unimpressive 2-0 victory leading more questions to the return of the Special One, especially with their man Lukaku getting a much needed goal to lift Everton over the weekend.

A Manchester Derby and an MLS Key Match Up with Sounders v Galaxy - September 20, 2013
Our guest for the day is the lovely and talented NBC Sports football presenter, Rebecca Lowe. We get Rebecca on for the first time since she made the move Stateside. The obvious talking point with Rebecca is the Manchester Derby. As some one who has covered the Premier League from the sidelines, speaking to both Sir Alex and his replacement David Moyes, so she'll have an interesting perspective on the current situation at United. And of course we cover the other football coming at us this weekend, which of course is only available on the NBC Networks! We also bring on Seattle Sounders play-by-play Ross Fletcher to the show to look ahead to the Sounders/Galaxy match. Have the Sounders convinced Rafa that they are not a soft team?
