Jimmy Nielsen's New Lease on Life Here in Major League Soccer - May 15, 2013
Our guest for the day is the recent author of a book, not to mention the starting goalkeeper for your Sporting Kansas City, Jimmy Nielsen. Jimmy's book, Welcome to the Blue Heaven, Don't Bet Against the Goalkeeper tells the back story to what brought this larger-than-life keeper to the Midwest. A dark past with a gambler's addiction, Jimmy struggled more than one would imagine off the field. The book is sure to be a good read, regardless of what MLS team you support. Oh, and of course, we check in with SKC as they come off a big win last weekend.

Not the First, and Probably Not the Last Look at Racism in Serie A - May 14, 2013
Our guest for the day is Italian football writer Kris Voakes who joins us to review yet another racially charged incident in Serie A over the weekend. The match between Roma and AC Milan was stopped momentarily to address the racist chants coming from a Roma supporters sections. It's not the first time this sort of thing has happen, and unfortunately, Voakes doesn't think it will be the last. Although plenty of opportunity to make a statement with Roma, it's fans and racism in football, Kris thinks that the reaction will fall short. Also, we try and sort out who came up with the god-awful gold kits for Milan.

Our guest for the day however will take us all the way to Wembley! Yes, Cristian Nyari, German football writer and correspondent, joins Ollie to look at all things German football and the cosmic shift in the stars that has shifted the spotlight from Spain to Germany. Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund played in a Bundesliga match over this past weekend, drawing each other in what some billed as the pre-final walk-thru. We look at the moves to be made over Summer and what effect Sir Alex's announce will have on the Bundesliga, it's players, and it's coaches.

Our guest for the day is the legendary European football writer, Andy Brassell. Where usually we head to deepest, darkest parts of Europe with Andy, we stick primarily to England today, getting follow up coverage of the Ferguson retirement announcement and the ripple effect it causes around the world. How will the shadow of Fergie affect the new manager and his position. Will we see any players leave from the club, and what sort of player will the new manager be able to bring in?

Blues and Reds, Relegation Battles and the Fight for European Competition - May 07, 2013
Our guest for the day is Nick Szczepanik, English Sport Writer based in the South of England. With the season drawing to a close, each match seems to carry more weight with it. Of course we look at the big win for Rafa's Chelsea (Benitez, fools!) over Manchester United, the Merseyside Derby, and pay close attention to the relegation battle and the battle for the final European positions on the league table. Chelsea and Spurs played midweek and the boys in blue can effectively seal their ticket into Europe next season with a win over Spurs, but Bale and AVB's club still have a lot on the line.

We touch base with the Serie-A All Stars of PSG, trying to sort out whether Beckham really deserved to be red carded like he was. We gauge the response from the French public as to the success of PSG's European campaign and we spend some time looking at Ligue 1 as it winds down to it's home stretch.

The Beatings Will Continue Until German Footballing Dominance is Restored - April 30, 2013
Our guest for the day is the German football writer for the Independent, Kit Holden. We had Graham Hunter on yesterday to look at the Spanish clubs' chances of progressing past their German opposition, but today, we look to Kit to hit us with a dose a reality, regardless of whether Cristiano Ronaldo is playing or not. Will Dortmund have a sense of swagger knowing that Real have not beat them this season. Will the German side be affected by the sea of white when they arrive in Madrid. Is the Barcelona v Bayern tie even worth playing at this point. So many questions to be answered.
